About
Dr. David Frantz grew up in Franklin, VA. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and attended the University of Virginia for medical school and residency. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina and received a master’s degree from the Gillings School of Global Public Health. He received specialized training from the Nestlé Nutrition Institute Clinical Nutrition Fellowship program.
Dr. Frantz has a general gastroenterology practice with a special interest in nutrition and clinical trials.
He and his wife Catherine have three children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, geocaching and traveling. He has his amateur radio license and loves spending time with his kids exploring new things.
